Itinera Limited Lifetime Warranty

This warranty policy applies to all orders placed after 10/06/2024. 

A. Products Covered by this Limited Warranty

This limited warranty extends to all luggage manufactured by Itinera and purchased directly from Itinera. Our luggage is designed for travel by air, car, train, boat, and on foot. This warranty does not cover luggage if used in a manner incompatible with its intended design.

B. Who this Warranty Extends To

This limited warranty applies to the original purchaser of any Itinera luggage or, in the case of a gift, the original recipient of the luggage. The "original purchaser" refers to the first person to purchase the luggage directly from Itinera, while the "original recipient" refers to the first person to receive the luggage as a gift. All Itinera warranties, including any implied warranties, are valid only for the period the luggage is owned by the original purchaser or recipient. A copy of the purchase receipt is required to determine warranty applicability.

Itinera limited warranties are non-transferable and do not apply to luggage used for commercial or rental purposes.

C. Itinera Limited Warranty and Responsibilities

Itinera warrants the luggage in its original packaging against defects in material and workmanship ("Defects") for life, provided the luggage is used for its intended purpose.

D. What this Limited Lifetime Warranty Covers

This limited warranty covers:

• Cracks or breaks in the shell
• Wheels, handles, or telescoping handles that break and become unusable

This limited warranty does not cover:

• Cosmetic damage such as scratches, dents, scuffs, stains, or color changes that occur with normal handling and use
• Replacement of any non-defective components in multi-piece luggage sets
• Luggage sold “as-is,” “preconditioned,” “reconditioned,” or similar
• Issues caused by consumers being locked out of their luggage

In the event of a defect, Itinera’s sole responsibility will be, at its option, to provide repaired or replacement luggage. For limited edition, discontinued, or out-of-stock luggage, Itinera guarantees only a replacement of equal or greater retail value, not the exact original item.

E. Your Responsibilities

To benefit from this limited warranty, you must return your luggage to Itinera and provide proof of the original purchase date. If shipping is required, you will not be responsible for those costs. Evidence of a defect and claims must be sent to the support email listed below.

Itinera will repair or replace the luggage and return it to you within 90 days of receiving the original item. Shipping for Alaska, Hawaii, or international addresses will be quoted after your submission of a warranty request.

If your luggage is locked, it can be shipped to Itinera to be unlocked. You will be responsible for any associated shipping and handling costs.

F. Disclaimer, Limitation on Liability

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE LUGGAGE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND THIS WARRANTY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE YOUR EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. ITINERA IS NOT LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR INDIRECT DAMAGES RELATED TO THE LUGGAGE OR ITS USE. THIS LIMITATION WILL APPLY EVEN IF ITINERA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF SUCH DAMAGES.

G. Arbitration

G1. Disputes between you and Itinera arising from this warranty will be settled by individual arbitration, not class action. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.

G2. You may seek to resolve disputes in small claims court if eligible, and both parties retain the right to seek injunctive or other relief for intellectual property issues.

G3. Arbitration will be conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Claims under $10,000 may be conducted via documents, video conference, or in-person hearing based on the claim. Arbitration hearings will take place in your county of residence unless agreed otherwise.

G4. Itinera will cover all filing, administration, and arbitrator fees for disputes under $10,000 unless the claim is deemed frivolous.

G5. You and Itinera agree to bring claims only in individual capacities and not in class or representative actions. If the class action waiver is unenforceable, this arbitration section becomes void.

H. Governing Law and Forum Choice

This warranty is governed by federal arbitration law and the laws of the State of Italy, excluding conflict of law provisions. Disputes not subject to arbitration will be handled by the courts in Italy.
